The Player
Behind
the Mission

I'm a youth soccer player competing in MLS NEXT — and I started United Against Hunger because I believe the game I love can do more than just build athletes. It can feed communities.

My Story

Where It All Started

Soccer has been my life for as long as I can remember. From the first time I touched a ball, I was hooked — the competition, the teamwork, the grind of getting better every single day. Playing in MLS NEXT isn't just a sport for me. It's where I've learned discipline, resilience, and what it really means to be part of something bigger than yourself.

But the more I played, the more I noticed something that didn't sit right with me. Kids in my own community — in Central and South Florida — were going to bed hungry. Families were struggling to put food on the table, right in the same neighborhoods where we were playing on perfectly manicured fields. That disconnect bothered me deeply.

I started asking myself: what if the thing I love most — soccer — could actually do something about it? Not just raise awareness, but create a direct, measurable pipeline from athletic effort to food on someone's plate. That question became United Against Hunger.

I'm not a nonprofit executive. I'm not a politician. I'm a player. And I think that's exactly why this works — because it's built by someone who lives this game, for the players who play it, to feed the communities that surround it.

"Soccer taught me that the best teams take care of each other. UAH is just extending that to the whole community."

"Every drill I do, I think about the family that's going to eat because of it. That's the most powerful motivation I've ever had."

"I want to prove that a kid with a ball and a phone can change the world."

The Mission Field

Why Central &
South Florida

Florida is one of the wealthiest states in the country — and one of the hungriest. In Central and South Florida, food insecurity affects hundreds of thousands of people, including a disproportionate number of children. These are kids who go to school, play sports, and dream big — but don't always know where their next meal is coming from.

This is my home. These are my neighbors. And this is the region where MLS NEXT soccer is growing fastest — which means we have a massive, built-in network of players, families, coaches, and clubs who can be part of the solution. The geography isn't a coincidence. It's the point.

The Drive

More Than a
Passion Project

The Competitor

I train every day to be the best player I can be. That same competitive drive is what pushes UAH forward. I don't want to just raise awareness — I want to win against hunger. Set records. Break them. Do it again.

The Neighbor

Central and South Florida is home. The families who benefit from Second Harvest aren't statistics to me — they're people in my community. That personal connection is what makes this real, and what keeps me going when it's hard.

The Student

At Westminster Preparatory School, I'm learning how business, technology, and social impact intersect. UAH is where I apply everything — building systems, thinking about scale, and figuring out how to turn a good idea into lasting change.

Global Context

Aligned with the
UN SDG #2

The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal #2 calls for Zero Hunger by 2030. That's not a distant policy goal to me — it's a personal deadline. UAH is my contribution to that mission: local action, global alignment, powered by the sport I love.

828 million people face hunger globally. I can't solve all of that. But I can start here, in my backyard, with my teammates, and prove that youth sports can be one of the most powerful tools for change the world has ever seen.

SDG Goal 2: Zero Hunger

"End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture."
